relaxation visualization techniques

How do people actually walk relaxation techniques, visualization .. Is this normal?
Someone suggested to use a time some visualization to help me relax and sleep. I tried it with different things like the sea or in the woods. I began to imagine, I'm at a beach. I have the perfect image in my head sand, visualizes the sunset from the water and then suddenly from nowhere a picture appears on the scene, which completely fails to place. Looks like a sand dragon or a naked man running on the beach screaming and hit on his hands. Anyway this is just one of many times I tried to use some visualization techniques is relax. Is this normal as it goes … Mist appears in your head at random, or had I'm doing something wrong?
Yes, it is generally costly. There are two schools of thought on this issue. 1) When you see a random thought, you should try to force them out of the picture. Imagine how easily chased the dragon and the naked man. 2) Do nothing. Just watch the thoughts come and go, stay away from them and not get involved. Exactly they consider a program odd late night TV. By paying them no pleasure, they fade. QOY Now I hope you do me not want to make a recommendation. light a candle and sit on the floor (if possible) with the flame of a candle at eye level. Just look in the flame, as you focus on the flame closes his eyes and the image of the flame in your mind. If other thoughts arise, simply open the eyes and see the flame again. This simple cycle point of view of the flame and the flame presentation will help you a lot more than an attempt to visualize a beach hand. IMHO. Now he is really on, if you are visual, auditory or kinestheticaly Minded people, what is the best form of meditation is for you. As such, try a variety and see what works. = View a video or an image flame. Auditory = heard music or singing a mantra Kinestheticaly = do tai chi or yoga _ () _
