Can you give me a meditation / visualization CD that I did not roll my eyes?

I'm all about the benefits of meditation and visualization heard. But the CDs I've tried so far make me want to roll your eyes and think you must be kidding me. "I think I need something very useful or somewhat humorous vs. me could make the speaker wants to bite the head. (Not a good meditation!) Anyone have any ideas?

I agree, this meditation CD to take yourself too seriously. The fact is that you do not really need a CD to meditate. There is a big difference between what is called "Guided Meditations (leading to a CD) or self-reporting. Most guided meditations are really only relaxation exercises, and that's good, but it is not really meditation. Meditation happens when you are relaxed (because you need to be relaxed in order to meditate). Once you're relaxed, you can start to focus, what's next to achieve a meditative state of mind. But, again, concentration is not meditation in itself. Feeling relaxed in life and help you concentrate better, are by-products of meditation, and are a valuable commodity, in fact, I have been meditating for almost 30 years and half had dozens of guided meditations during this time – otherwise it all yourself. Here is a good way to start self-meditation Tour: 1) Look you want a quiet place where you can relax quietly for at least five minutes per day. The actual time depends you, but be sure – Ensure that you practice regularly every day. 2) After finding a comfortable position, sitting or lying down, close eyes and think of you all aware, "Now I meditate and do nothing else for the duration of my meditation practice." 3) starting at the top of the head, you move your body and trying to feel each part relax downward. Take your time with this, three or four breaths in each part, each breath you relax a little more. 4) If you are unable to keep your thoughts on fiscal relaxation then you count your breaths as you move from one part of your body to the next.
