Why can not full screen applications?

I have ATI Catalyst Center (Radeon X300 SE), so I video signals by cable S-Video for TV could send screen. But not now, I do not see all applications in full screen – games, videos or visualizations reader music. What changes must I do to Settings, and where? Thank you! It could be due to its DirectX does not work with the revised pilot. How do I transfer the settings back, but continue with this new driver w / TV-out feature?

What to do if you try, or I'm just assuming their Direct X, or is not installed the drivers for your card properally.
